- Material losses included 556 houses damaged, 9 hotels damaged, 60 culinary stalls damaged, 350 boats and sheeps damaged.
- Four affected districts are in Pandeglang, Serang, South Lampung and Tanggamus.

Overview Of The Situation
The BMKG reported that high tide/tsunami hit Carita Beach in Banten Province, and hit the coast around the Sunda Strait, especially in Pandenglang, South Lampung and Serang districts.on 22 December 2018 at 21:27 hrs. The Tsunami Impact in Pandeglang District recorded 222 deaths, 843 injured, and 2 missing. Physical damage included 446 houses damaged, 9 hotels damaged, 60 culinary stall damaged, 350 ships and boats damaged, and 73 vehicles damaged. The areas affected are 10 sub-districts. The locations twere many fatalities found was in Mutiara Hotel Carita Cottage, Tanjung Lesung Hotel and Sambolo Village.
In Serang, 11 people deaths, 22 injured, and 26 missing. Damaged buildings data is being collected. While in South Lampung Regency recorded 48 deaths, 213 injured and 110 houses damaged. In Tanggamus Regency there was 1 death.
This number is expected to continue growing considering there are still many who have not been evacuated yet. The data related to the number of refugees is being collected. Emergency response continues, BNPB together with the TNI, Polri, and related K / L continue to coordinate with the provincial and district governments to assist them in emergency response. Our overseas partner, PKPU Human Initiative, responds quickly to this incident by sending Rescue and assessment team. The first team consisted of 5 personnels, upon arrival at the location the team immediately coordinated at the Tanjung Lesung evacuation post, and the team was immediately asked to conduct an inspection at the Sumur Cibaliung, an area where search and rescue had not been conducted. Until the evacuation was completed today, the evacuation results were still zero. The search, rescue and evacuation plan will continue tomorrow morning in the Sumur area until the end of the road, electricity in the location is still off.
