In the midst of difficulties dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic, we at Human Aid Initiative strive to support front line healthcare workers who are working in an extremely challenging situation trying to treat COVID-19 patients.
Since the start of April 2020, we have successfully carried out a number of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) distributions to support healthcare workers working in hospital and community healthcare settings.
We have provided PPE at two hospitals: Cicalengka Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) in Bandung, West Java and Harapan Ibu General Hospital in Purbalingga, Central Java. Also distributions at two Community Health Centres, one in Bukateja Purbalingga and the other in Purwareja Klampok 1, Banjarnegara, Central Java, Indonesia. We have also distributed at Pratama Aisyiyah Health Clinic, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Central Java.
Our PPE kits included 67 Hazmat Coveralls, 55 N95 Masks, 71 Medical Safety Goggles, 3,000 Sterile Gloves and 2 litres of Hand Sanitiser. A selection of multivitamins for front line healthcare workers was also included in the kits.
