Human Aid Initiative and Friends have had the pleasure to serve Indonesian meals at Open Iftar on Friday 17th of May 2019.
This event was organised by Ramadan Tent Project where the participants break their fast under a large tent at Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury in central London.
This is the second time we got involved in this event. No less than 400 people attended the breaking of their fast that evening. We served Indonesian dishes in the form of white rice, beef rendang, fried noodles and vegetable stir fry.
The Ramadan Tent Project is a community institution which aims to develop and understand the experience and knowledge of Ramadan and fasting for all. This made this event open to everyone from all kinds of backgrounds.
We thank our supporters and friends for their contribution in providing delicious Indonesian meals. We hope to carry on this good work in the future.
